The Douglas County Historical Society’s “Taste of the Towns” started out great! Then came the rain! Everyone just hung around under the tents until it slowed down and then they proceeded on their way. Everyone said they had a good time and this year the food was better than ever. Here are the winners that you voted for. Buona Sera won for best taste. Cafe Girasole won for best atmosphere and best overall. The best shop was Ruby Rose City and Saddle Clothes. Best Discovery was Buona Sera. Many thanks to all the restaurant and businesses that helped us out. Most of  all, thanks to all of you who bought tickets to this event. Also, many thanks to all the volunteers for their help
