Events & Programs - 2010 Calendar of Events
The Douglas County Historical Society invites you to participate in celebrating the best of historic preservation by nominating most deserving of the Douglas County Historical Society Preservation Award.
The Douglas County Historical Society is running a year long photo contest to put together a calendar for 2011. This calendar will contain the winning photos for each month, showing what we who live here think best represents Douglas County in each month.
Each monthly contest closes on the last day of the month, excepting months that end with a Sunday. The contest began in September of 2009 and will conclude in August of 2010 with calendars being available for pre-order in July of 2010.
The 2010 calendar will be available to purchase by the end of October. The 2011 calendar will be available in October of 2010.
